Have Questions?

We hope to be able to answer all your frequently answered  questions below!

  • Why is my deposit non-refundable.
Deposits are non-refundable for multiple reasons. 1.) We do not have a never-ending reservation list. We limit our list to the number of families that we know we can get puppies for within a reasonable time. 2.) We only accept applicants that are going to be suitable for the breed, and our puppies. GD can be high energy, require training and grooming, and buyers need to understand the breed and be committed to their puppy. 3.)We may make breeding decision based on the reservation list desires (ie, size, color) Therefore, we need to ensure that our buyers are committed to our program and are not continually searching for the next breeder that may get them a dog sooner.
  • How do I get my puppy on go home day?
You will be made aware of Go Home Day the moment we call you and tell you we have a puppy for you within our latest litter. Puppies can be picked up locally at the arranged time on puppy pick up day. Payment in full is required 24-48 hours before. There is a lot happening getting everyone ready to go home so we try to get as much done before that time! If you cannot make a local pick up, for in-state buyers, a puppy drop off can be arranged for an additional fee (to be determined at that time). This is a service we can offer, but is not guaranteed, and is on a first come, first serve basis. For out of state buyers, we can assist and coordinate a flight nanny. We do not ship puppies without a flight nanny due to health and safety concerns for our puppies.
  • What items do I need for my new puppy?
To prepare for your new puppy, you will need: 1.) A medium-sized crate, for dogs up to 25 lbs with a divider. 2.) Purina Pro Plan puppy food. Being consistent with food will help puppy to transition more easily and reduce any stomach upset. 3.) Puppy pads for training. 4.) A harness and a leach. 5.) A way to play classical music to puppy at sleep time. 6.) A scheduled appointment with your vet 48 hours after pick up to maintains the health guarantee. 7.) Food and water bowls. 8.) Patience and consistency
  • What is an FAQ section? (Demo)
An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about you or your business, such as “Where do you ship to?”, “What are your opening hours?” or “How can I book a service?” It’s a great way to help people navigate your site and can even boost your site’s SEO.
